Plastic Injection Molding

Providence offers OEMs a complete package of injection molding capabilities of highly engineered resins. Due to our long history of molding parts for demanding applications in the Medical and Personal care, Food & Beverage, Industrial & Agricultural, and Automotive industries, we are experts in the injection molding of highly engineered resins such as PBT, PPSU, PSU, Gamma-resistant PP and high temperature glass filled Nylon.

We can perform over-molding, co-molding, insert molding, double-shot molding, and micro-molding. Our injection molding machines range from the 6-ton presses use in micro-molding to 1,600 tons of clamping force, and we have Class 7 (10K) and Class 8 (100K) Cleanrooms for medical device component and finished good production, as well as White rooms for general production.

Most of the injection molding tools that we commission are built within our tooling workshop. We build 40-50 injection molding tools per month and though most of the tools are used for in-production, we also offer the option for exporting tools globally. The class of Injection molding tooling is between Class 101 for production to Class 105 for prototype tooling.

Besides the actual injection molding and related tooling, Providence also streamlines the injection molding supply chain. This may include the management of designated resin suppliers or suggestions regarding locally sourced resins, that may be available within shorter lead times, more widely available, and more cost effective.

Silicone Extrusion & Rubber Molding

For sealing applications and products which need to be pliable than rigid, Providence offers Cleanroom silicone extrusion, rubber compression and injection molding, with presses ranging from 35 to 300 tons. With millions of components made each month such as, diaphragms, valves, cushions, seals, and gaskets, we have the capacity and the experience to work with a diverse range of elastomeric materials, including: EPDM, Chloroprene, Viton, Buna, and Teflon rubbers as well as Fluroeslatomers (FKM).

Engineering Expertise

We excel in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems involving plastics, pumps, motors, and electronics. In addition to consideration for Design for Excellence, we are highly experienced in Design for Manufacturing. Our core engineering experience centers around pump and motor development and working with our customers to collaborate on best design for their product application. Designing and Developing products for efficient and consistent manufacturing, cost effectiveness and quality production is our specialty.
